Safety is not one answer, because three projects share the name. Each one handles accounts and money differently. None of them is Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, or The Pokémon Company, and this site is not those companies either.
Side by side
| Topic | Browser battles | 3D Kanto | Minecraft server |
|---|---|---|---|
| Relation to the main series | Says it has no commercial tie to the rights holders | Homepage calls the project free and independently made | A public server using Pixelmon |
| Account | Google or Discord, or none for a room | Guest file, or username and password | Minecraft account |
| What they say they store | Internal id, username, friend code, trainer, dates, friends | A device save, or a cloud save behind an HttpOnly cookie | Not stated |
| Delete | Friends panel, immediate | Not stated | Not stated |
| Ads and purchases | No ads, no purchases, optional donations | No ad script and no shop on the homepage | Server join is free; a store exists |
| Public policy page | Privacy and legal notice | Those URLs redirect home | Forum rules, not a privacy page for this name |
| Status | 1 source: the game’s policy | 1 source | Complex + directory listings |
The strongest written policy
PokeRivals.xyz publishes both a legal notice and a privacy page, in English and a Spanish legal notice dated in October 2026. The privacy page says email stays with the sign-in provider, the game shows no real name, deletion is immediate, and an anonymous match summary can include duration, format, result, latency, and frame rate for 60 days unless Do Not Track is on. That is the project speaking about itself. It is not a third-party security certificate. I still prefer a written policy over a missing one.
Where a policy is missing
poke-rivals.com has no privacy, terms, or legal page that stays up. Requesting those paths returns you to the homepage. I can say the homepage has no ad script and the account file describes a username, a password, an HttpOnly cookie, and a CSRF token named on that page. I cannot say how long a cloud save is kept, because the site does not say. The Minecraft server’s join price is free in the directories, and Complex sells optional items in its Pixelmon store. Whether the server refuses unpaid Minecraft accounts is still blank.
A Solana token called $RIVALS uses a nearby domain. It is not these three games. This site does not link a buy button and does not tell you to purchase anything. ROM files and cracked clients are not offered here either. Open the real doors from the how-to-play page.
Questions
Will the browser games charge me?
PokeRivals.xyz states no ads and no purchases, with optional donations. poke-rivals.com shows no shop on the homepage. The Minecraft network has an optional store.
Does sign-in give the battle game my email?
Its privacy page says the sign-in provider receives email and the game database does not copy or display it. You can delete the account from the friends panel.
Is the $RIVALS token part of these games?
No. A Solana project uses a similar name. This site does not link it and does not give investment advice.
